Here are the answers to the questions we get asked most often.....
Where can I park?
There are 2 car parks close to the seafront. One at the train station and one directly opposite. The postcode there is CO14 8DH. They are both pay & display and cost around £6 for the whole day.
What should I bring with me?
I do my best to provide most things you’ll need during the day, but I would always advise you to bring tea towels and milk! Tea and coffee are provided, and there are plenty of places during peak season to get something to eat or drink.
What time is the hut available?
The hours have recently been extended, it is now 9am to 6:30pm.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are welcome in the huts and on the beach. I do ask that they aren’t left unattended in the hut during your visit and ask that they stay off the furniture. Max 2 dogs per booking.
Where are the huts?
The huts are all located on Southcliff, close to the pier. When I send over the key code for the day I’ll also send a map with the exact position marked.
Are there toilets nearby?
There are 2 sets of toilets nearby, one opposite the pier, and one along the front. Again, these will be marked on the map I send over.
👩🏻🤝👩🏽 What is the maximum number of visitors allowed?
A maximum of 8 visitors per booking.
It’s my daughters birthday, can someone put up banners and balloons for us?
Absolutely! Please just ask and I’ll arrange for this to be done for you!
